This week has witnessed another torrent of RM news, from the surprising (YEH) to the funny let’s look back at the last seven days of Running Man headlines.
Yoon Eun Hye speaks out regarding an appearance on Running Man
The actress that a lot of RM fans would love to see guest on the show has broken her silence- with completely logical arguments for and against appearing on the show. Yoon Eun Hye, most recently seen in I Miss You, is a big star with a past on variety shows. YEH was a cast member of the now defunct variety program X Man which hosted by current RM MC Yoo Jae Suk and featured RM’s Sparta Kim Jing Kook. While appearing on X Man YEH and Kim Jong Kook were involved in a variety love line that would make the Monday Couple jealous. And such is YEH’s argument for not appearing on the show:
“I think that it is a really good program, but I don’t think I’m justified in appearing on the show at the moment. I think that it’d be nice if I went on the show when I’m about to start a new movie or drama. I wouldn’t be afraid to go on the show if I thought that it’d be steered in another direction, but I think that they might focus too much on [the love line] if I do go on. If that happens, then there won’t be much significance to me being there. Since it is a good program, I think it will be fun if I get to appear on the show.”
And we have a catch 22. No matter if she is promoting a movie or drama the love line will be inevitably brought up and probably more so than what ever she is promoting. So there really is no good time for her to be on the show. But I appreciate the fact that she cleared everything up- and hate the fact that I feel like there is zero chance she will guest on RM in the near future.

Song Ji Hyo- Gwang Soo thinks she is a weed?
The giraffe and Running Man’s ace are busy promoting their new animated feature, Maritime Police Marco (premiering on 2/14/13). I love the hilarious press conferences with these two- so far we have seen gem after gem of sibling like rivalry and jokes. The latest barb (or compliment. maybe?) given this week was courtesy of Gwang Soo:
“Song Ji Hyo is faster than anyone else, like a viper. Like the character Lulu from the movie, she solves her problems herself instead of waiting for anyone to show up. She’s like a weed, surviving anywhere she is.”
In the film Ji Hyo play’s Lulu, the first love of the eponymous monkey hero Marco. I can’t wait to hear more from this pair as they poke fun at each other all the way to the box office.

Running Man reveals travel plans
As announced earlier this year, RM will embark on a multi nation tour this spring. Finally we are privy to the itinerary- Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Macau. I am beyond excited to see the seven cast members, the crew, and PDs shuffle between countries in their ever refreshingly funny style. The multi nation specials should air in late spring.
