Kwang Soo in new drama?
Merry Christmas to us. Lee Kwang Soo is currently considering a role in the drama It’s Okay, It’s Love (working title), the newest show from the writer of That Winter the Wind Blows. The drama is set in a mental clinic (umm, okay). Kwang Soo’s potential role is that of Park Soo Kwang, a man with Tourette syndrome (a neuropsychiatric disorder that involves repetitive moments).
Already confirmed for the drama is one of my favorites, Song Dong Il, as well as drama newcomer Do Kyungsoo (from the idol group Exo). Starring in the lead roles are two drama heavyweights – Gong Hyo Jin (Master’s Sun) and Jo In Sung (That Winter). The drama will air in early summer.
Upcoming Guests
Episode 191 will feature the cast of the upcoming SBS weekend drama Angel Eyes. Yep- 7 guests in total: Gong Hyung Jin, Jung Jin Young, Jim Ji Seouk, Kwon Hae Hyo, Ku Hye Sun, Lee Sang Yoon, and Seungri will guest star. You can check out pics from the filming below (as well as a bonus Yoo Jae Suk / Seungri selca posted by the Big Bang Member):
Kim Jong Kook releases Tear Marks
Kim Jong Kook recently released the song Tear Marks as part of the OST for Love in Memory 2. As usual, the song is amazing. The song is Kookie’s first appearance in an original soundtrack since his contribution to last year’s Good Doctor OST. Check out the song below:
White Day
What is White Day, you ask. Hold on I got this (lie- wisegeek.com has got this):
White Day is a romantic holiday celebrated in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. The holiday falls on March 14, one month exactly after Valentine’s Day. Tradition in these countries holds that women are supposed to give men romantic gifts on Valentine’s Day, while men are supposed to return the favor on White Day.
There you have it- 3/14 is not just for pies any more.
On March 13th Kwang Soo got a jump start on the holiday by adding the following update to his LINE:
Have a sweet White day♡
Kim Jong Kook, never one to be left behind, released a sweet White Day video for his fans. The Commander also hand wrapped 50 candy boxes and delivered them to some lucky fans. Check out Kookie’s video message (and a translation of the video) below:
Hello, this is Kim Jong Kook. It’s been a long time since I appear in this kind of video. For me, it’s been a long time and for everyone who may be bored, I’m back with a song. It’s an OST, although it is not by national broadcast, it’s a song that will soothes everyone so please hear it often. I am also currently eagerly working on a new album and other activities.
And on White Day, I’ve prepared candies for you all. I packed them by myself and hope this small qualitative gift will be passed to you. Everyone please be healthy and I will eagerly do my activities. I’m thankful, always. Please enjoy your candies!

Yoo Jae Suk Home Shopping CF
The nation’s MC has been a spokesperson for the Home & Shopping online site for almost a year now. Home & Shopping recently released a new CF featuring Yoo Jae Suk dancing around in a Charlie Chaplin-esque getup. You can check out the video below (why do the smiley face fireworks make me so happy?!):
Kwang Soo in Malaysia for Cafébene
On March 8th Lee Kwang Soo officiated the opening of Cafebene in Malaysia. Yep – this signals a picture dump. Enjoy!
Parting Thoughts
A guide to trolling Kim Jong Kook by Yoo Jae Suk
Kwang Soo’s drama is one that I wouldn’t ordinarily watch except I love the entire cast, lol. So, I’ll end up watching it, and if it’s no good, then on my head be it. And I can’t wait for Seungri on Running man! I hope it’s a half decent episode!
