Plus, I madly like Heechul for being an outspoken prick… and I think he is still bitter that Running Man messed up his hair:
Joking. Seriously, I will freely admit Running Man is childish at times, which is a huge part of its charm and why I love it so. I couldn’t love serious variety, because that would contradict itself. Running Man fighting! Childishness fighting! Heechul never thinking before he speaks fighting! Somehow it all fits together…

New Years with Yoo Jae Suk? Sounds Good says a recent poll
It is no secret that Yoo Jae Suk is extremely popular in Korea. Coca Cola recently conducted a poll in Korea asking participants who they would most want to see the New Year’s sunrise with. It should come as no surprise that Yoo Jae Suk topped the list with 31% of the votes. Suzy, HaHa’s past comedic obsession, came in second. I would be totally cool with seeing the New Year’s sunrise with Yoo Jae Suk, because it would be f***ing hilarious.
Ji Suk Jin goes on a family outing – everyone and their brother thinks his wife looks too young for him
Yes, Big Nose Hyung’s significant other is a looker. Suk Jin, his wife Ryu Su Jung, and son Ji Hyun Woo appeared on the December 20th broadcast of MBC’s new show Real Animal Adoption: Our Family’s Youngest.
During the broadcast it was apparent that: Suk Jin’s son is his doppelganger, Suk Jin’s son does not want his help with homework, and Su Jung looks far younger than her actual age.
Running Man leads the SBS Entertainment Award Polls
December 30th is the big awards day for Running Man; on that date SBS will hold their annual Entertainment Awards. A rundown for Korean Variety newbies – every channel holds their own year-end ceremonies to award their own shows (2 awards shows actually, one for varieties and talk shows and the other for dramas). Sound weird? Yep, I know.
The SBS awards will air on December 30th and so far Running Man is dominating the online voting. As of December 25th Running Man is leading the most popular program poll with 84% of the vote. The most popular MC poll is unsurprisingly being led by Yoo Jae Suk with 67% of the vote. Surprisingly Gary is in second with 8% of the vote, followed by his Monday girlfriend with 6% of the vote. Kim Jong Kook is coming in fourth with a respectable 5% of the vote, his dongsaeg nemesis Lee Kwang Soo is at fifth with 2% of the vote. Here is hoping RM wins big at the awards ceremony!
Teaser for Song Ji Hyo’s New Drama Released
Song Ji Hyo’s new drama Emergency Couple will premiere on January 24th on tvN. Costarring in the drama is Choi Jin Hyuk, Lee Pil Mo, and Choi Yeo Jin. The drama features Ji Hyo as a divorcee doctor who reconnects with her ex when they work in the same emergency room. Check out the preview below:
